April Showers Jacket Guide
It's the time of year once again when we are being blessed with mother natures unpredictable April showers schedule, so this week we decided to pull out some lightweight outerwear from a few of our favourite Spring/Summer '14 collections to help you battle through the month of April. Pictured above is the Chevak Shell Jacket from Massachusetts based brand Penfield, it features a durable nylon construction along with felled seams, bound elastic cuffs and an adjustable hood.
Next up we have perhaps one of the most iconic jackets in modern menswear history, the SL Bedale Jacket from Barbour. The original silhouette we have all known over the years so well has been given a slimmer and shorter shape, the cut is more contemporary, adding a new dimension to a classic piece of outerwear from Barbour. Staying true to it's predecessor the jacket features a 100% lightweight waxed cotton construction, tartan lining, handwarmer pockets and a corduroy collar.
Lastly we have the Unlined Hooded Jacket from legendary Italian brand C.P. Company, a super lightweight jacket that features a cotton and nylon blend construction, along with a full zip placket, adjustable hood, two zip closure front pockets, elasticated bottom hem and internal pockets. The jacket is finished with the classic watch viewer zip pocket added to the left arm, a new addition from the Spring/Summer 2014 collection.
