Filson Bags

Cobain, the Seahawks, whatever you relate Seattle to here at The Content Store it will always be the iconic outdoor brand Filson. Born during the Klondike Goldrush of 1887 company founder Clinton C. Filson soon realised that the prospectors flocking to Seattle were not merely equipped enough for the harsh conditions they would soon be experiencing in the mines. It was soon that Clinton started to produce his own outdoor garments created especially for the challenges that would encounter the city's newly found prospector population. Fast forward 127 years and Filson is still producing near on indestructible bags with Clinton C. Filsons words of "might as well have the best" proving to be very much the truth. Backpacks, Bags and Briefcases

Created from water resistant woven linen, the Mismo MS Backpack features an intelligent roll-top closure and four pairs of D-rings on the front to ensure the bag can be closed in different positions. Using a classic Mismo silhouette, the bag is finished off with three outside departments split up by the leather straps on the front face, foam insulated internal laptop compartment, a small zip pocket compartment and solid brass buckles for adjusting the length of the shoulder straps.

The Jerry Backpack from Swedish based brand Sandqvist is constructed from their hard wearing and durable cotton canvas and features vegetable tanned leather trims, ensuring it is incredibly tough for everyday wear. This day to day backpack features two external compartments and hosts a laptop sleeve inside its roll top closed main compartment. A clean and simply styled backpack from the Swedish bag and accessories brand.

Seattle based bagmakers Filson present the 72 Hour Briefcase which is constructed from their durable, hardwearing, water-resistant tin cloth. The finished product is of real dedication and quality craftsmanship and features features bridle leather handles and straps, fully reinforced seams and is finished with a small woven logo patch on the inside.

The Filson Zip Tote Bag is a traditional tote bag updated with the brands ultra heavy duty 22oz cotton twill, tightly woven and treated with Paraffin to ensure it is highly water repellent. The Filson Zip Tote Bag features bridle leather handles, fully reinforced seams and is finished with a small woven logo patch inside the main zipped compartment.

Expert shoe makers Alden Shoe Company construct their Indy Boot with Horween leather teamed with a full glove leather lining ensuring comfort and durability, Woolrich incorporates Teton technology in the Rudder Jacket for a breathable yet strong fabric, Edwin use premium quality 14oz Japanese denim in their ED-55 cut, British brand Hentsch Man use a heavyweight 100% cotton loopback construction for their Crew Sweat whilst Filson infuse 22oz parafin treated cotton twill with their Original Briefcase.
