Staff Reviews - Morito, Exmouth Market

We are proud to present our new, staff reviews, blog series. Each week a member of staff here at The Content Store, will be reviewing their favourite place on Exmouth Market or Lambs Conduit Street. To kick things off we have Exmouth regular, Benito El Ray and his beloved Morito Tapas Restaurant.

If you are looking to eat out on Exmouth Market then your Number One destination has to be Moritos! Whether you are seated outside watching the street do its thing or inside on one of the snug tables, or at the bar, you will be looking over your shoulder to see what everyone else is eating and asking one of the waiting staff if you can have "One of whatever that is"

The waiters weave in and out between the tables with an almost Ballerina like grace and always seem to be having the utmost fun. Food passes over your head and past your nose on its way to be devoured by eagerly awaiting Diners. The music in the background adds to the experience, being a heady mix of Soul, Jazz, Blues and Rock and Roll.

Some evenings it can get quite busy (as expected) and you might be asked to leave your number so they can give you a call when a table becomes available, but it is well worth the wait, and in the meantime you can busy yourself looking in some of the many fine shops on the Market.

Is it allowed to give 11 out of 10…?

I don't know…! ! Better you go along and make up your own mind

New Yorkers Grayers join our brand list for their debut at Content, creating luxury basics with a timeless feel. Drawing inspiration from a broad spectrum including 50's preppy Americana and classic British leisurewear, Grayers create garments designed to compliment the modern man's wardrobe. Following a 10 year stint as a designer at Ralph Lauren, Peter Georgiou, founded Grayers after spotting a gap in the men's market for a " well-crafted clothing collection with great fit, crazy good quality and incredibly reasonable prices", this inspired him to go back and re-create classic silhouettes in his own unique way. AMI Fall/Winter 2015: behind the scenes

Parisian-born brand AMI give us an insiders look at the preparation, styling and absolute precision involved in pulling off their ground-breaking Fall/Winter 2015 runway show. The video features words by Alexandre Mattiussi himself, the brand's founder/director/designer who gained a legendary reputation working under the likes of Marc Jacobs, Givenchy and Dior.

Since launching AMI in 2011 Mattiussi has put out a number of highly innovative and influential collections, adding a new edge to key menswear pieces and rising status to that of his previous clients.

Directed by highly-regarded fashion documenter Loïc Prigent, the video captures a calmness within the manic preparations as well as Mattiussi's truly artistic work ethic and approach.

This week see's the arrival of a collaboration between two British greats; Clarks Originals and 6876. The capsule collection comprises a midnight navy suede Desert Trek alongside a grey suede take on the iconic Desert Boot, both limited to just 500 pairs across the globe. The Desert boot and Desert Trek are constructed using premium Steads British suede with dual branded swatch fobs and veg tan crepe soles.

After what has felt like a lifetime, we're over the moon to present our debut collection from New York based brand Grayers. Founded by Peter Georgiou, a 10-year Ralph Lauren veteran and veritable history buff, the name Grayers was inspired by 1950's Britain and the staple grey flannel trousers favoured as a post-three piece suit leisurewear choice, nicknamed "Grayers".
