Look Of The Week - 19/4/14

It's reached that point of the season when a lightweight outerwear is all you need, so this week we've based our look around perhaps one of the most iconic silhouettes in modern day mens clothing - the C.P. Company Multi Pocket Goggle Jacket. An item which takes inspiration from the famous Mille Miglia racing driver jackets, incorporating fold down goggles within the hood, a garment dyed cotton polymide blend construction and corozo nut buttons. Also featured is the YMC Stripe Pocket Tee, Edwin French Twill Chinos, MWC G10 100m SS watch and Nike Free Powerlines +2.

Formerly known as the Nike Free 5.0, this latest update from Nike's Spring '14 offering switches out the form-fitting upper in favour of a traditional tongue, providing ultimate comfort and durability. Designed with the help of Tinker Hatfield the shoe coincides with the 10th anniversary of Nike's Free sole technology and also features flex grooves for a more natural stride along with waffle lugs at the outsole for the ultimate traction and impact absorption.

Nike Air Tailwind

There are not many sneakers in history that have revolutionised an industry, but the Nike Air Tailwind most certainly falls under that category. First released in 1979 the Tailwind was the first sneaker to introduce Nikes Air Sole system, changing running sneaker design from that year onwards. This week we see the 2014 reissue drop, and staying true to it's original design the model features suede/mesh uppers, a contrasting padded tongue, leather swoosh and most importantly the iconic waffle sole.

New Arrival: Nike Tennis Classic

As new arrivals from Nike's Spring '14 season continuously arrive here at The Content Store a legendary silhouette made it's return this week. Originally known as the Wimbledon due to being worn by iconic Tennis player John McEnroe whilst he won the All England Championships in 1985, however, the shoe was later re-named to the Tennis Classic. Featuring a vulcanised outsole, padded ankle and brand tab on tongue the shoe has hardly changed since it's first appearance on the court over 25 years ago.

Nike continue their Spring '14 collection with yet another strong delivery this week. Ever since it's inception in 1971 the brand has been able to recreate some of the most iconic silhouettes in sneaker culture whilst always remaining true to the original model that started it all. A perfect example of this is the Nike Air Max 95 featuring a No Sew Upper giving the whole shoe a more ascetically cleaner look whilst bringing the classic from 1995 throughly into 2013. This week's delivery also includes historic favourites such as the Air Max 90, one of the greatest models from the Beaverton archives, the Internationalist, back after a 30 year hiatus and a more recent member of the Nike family - the Roshe sitting comfortably on an EVA foam sole for durability and stability.
