Laguna Beach local Shawn Stussy set up the company in the early 1980s, Inspired by the California Surf and Skate Culture, Shawn Stussy set out to start a clothing brand which reflected him as a person and his passion and surroundings. Today Stussy exists as an iconic and respected Worldwide brand name still retaining its artistic independence.
